Abdülhak Mihrünnisa Hanım
Mihrünnisa Hanım was born in 1864. She is the daughter of Müverrih Hayrullah Efendi, the sister of Abdülhak Hamid Bey and the wife of Keçecizade Fuad Paşa’s grandson Hikmet Bey. Her poems are closer to the new literature that developed after "Tanzimat," rather than "Divan" poetry. The gentleness of her pen and the brilliance, beauty and freshness of her thoughts are rare among the poets of her period.
